FAQs
A private Komodo yacht charter offers a truly bespoke experience. Unlike shared group tours, you’ll have the entire yacht exclusively for you and your guests, with a dedicated crew catering to your every need. Enjoy the freedom to create your own itinerary — linger longer at a coral reef, relax on a secluded beach, or skip the crowds. Expect luxury amenities, personalized gourmet dining, and complete privacy, all designed for an unforgettable journey through Komodo National Park.
A typical private charter explores all iconic spots in Komodo National Park. Core destinations include: Komodo Island (see dragons in their natural habitat), Rinca Island, Padar Island (famous panoramic viewpoint with tri-colored beaches), Pink Beach for world-class snorkeling, Manta Point for swimming with manta rays, Kalong Island at sunset (flying fox bats), and secluded coves like Taka Makassar, Sebayur, or Kanawa Island for pristine coral reefs. The exact route is fully customizable based on your interests, diving preferences, and weather conditions.
Our private Komodo cruise packages are all-inclusive. You’ll enjoy luxury accommodation onboard, gourmet meals prepared by a private chef, non-alcoholic beverages, snorkeling gear (and diving equipment if included), Komodo National Park entrance fees, guided island excursions, and full crew service. Extras like alcohol, diving courses, or curated experiences (e.g., private beach BBQs) can be added to personalize your trip even more.
Fly to Komodo Airport (LBJ) in Labuan Bajo. From Bali (Ngurah Rai Airport): Daily flights are available with Garuda, Lion Air, Citilink, and Batik Air (1.5 hours, USD 80-150 one-way). From Jakarta: 2.5-hour flights, approximately USD 150-250. We recommend arriving the day before your trip (accommodation not included) and departing the day after (trip ends around 2:00 pm on Day 3).
Each private trip is fully customizable, but a typical 3D2N or 4D3N route covers Komodo’s highlights:
- Day 1: Sail from Labuan Bajo, snorkel at Kelor Island, sunset at Kalong Island.
- Day 2: Hike Padar Island, visit Komodo Island with rangers, relax at Pink Beach.
- Day 3: Snorkel at Manta Point & Taka Makassar, unwind at Siaba or Kanawa Island.
All boats depart from Labuan Bajo, and the itinerary can be adjusted for diving, photography, or relaxation based on your preferences.
3 days/2 nights is the minimum for key highlights (Padar, Komodo, Pink Beach), but it’s somewhat packed. 4 days/3 nights is ideal for a relaxed pace with all major attractions. 5-7 days allows exploring remote corners (northern Komodo, southern park, nearby island chains) with downtime for enjoying the yacht. For combining Komodo with Flores or Raja Ampat, trips can be 10+ days. Most travelers find 4-5 days strikes the perfect balance—covering all major treks and dives with time for sunsets and relaxation. It’s your private trip with no fixed schedule!
